"Wind Energy in the Baltic Sea Region 2"
POWES together with other Partners take part in "Wind Energy in the Baltic Sea Region 2" project.
WEBSR 2 is an international project implemented by 11 institutions and organizations engaged in promoting offshore wind energy development in four countries of the Baltic Region, i.e. in Germany, Sweden, Lithuania and Poland. The main objective of the project is to analyze country’s law as well as to prepare recommendations for local and regional authorities concerning amendments to the law which cause investment difficulties. Within the project framework public hearing related to wind energy development will also be conducted.
It is anticipated that the project will identify best practices for funding of wind energy investments and will allow for its common use. It is essential for the project to analyze and promote technical solutions for wind energy storage.
